Foley audio of passing cars on a country lane. Cars passed behind the direction the camera was facing. There's a mild stabilisation noise you may hear which could detriment your audio if not removed. A stark soundscape of the icy wind swooshing through dry oak leaves on the edge of a midwestern lake. Plus, as an added bonus, from out of nowhere two fast-moving canada geese come storming through at only about 25 feet from where i was standing!. I was very lucky because they are so close that at some point during this recording, you can actually hear the sound of the wind being pummeled by the beating of the geese's very large, strong wings. I needed the sound of a sign rattling violently in the wind, so i manufactured this with a piece of corrugated metal that had been screwed onto a piece of wood fretwork. I rattled it against a wood box in front of the mic.

Five rakes of a large wind chime recorded in the studio. I was producing a track for a singer / songwriter who has a beach type song and we needed some effects to add to the atmosphere and wind chimes was one of a few. This is a clean recording. You can use this in all kinds of outdoor samples etc. I recorded five passes for a few different chimes. This recording is unprocessed and has not been edited. It was quite windy and the rain hit the windows really hard. The wind tinkled the lamp. I recorded this sound by positioning a rode nt1 a few decimeters away from the lamp. You can hear some talking in the background. Recommended audio edit: low cut at 30 hz and soft high cut (6db/oct)starting at 1. 5khz.

This is the sound of cold winter wind finding its way through the gaps in our living room window. The recording has been edited to remove long stretches of silence, and has had some light noise reduction applied. The noise floor is still quite high though, so maybe best to put this one fairly low in the mix. Recorded using a zoom h2 with its rear mics activated.
